Dear devotees, friends and well-wishers of ISKCON Zagreb Nova Jaladuta temple,
we bring you some of the significant events that marked the last three months - July, August and September.

From the middle to the end of July, our brahmacaris spent in Rijeka, where they were involved in various preaching activities, especially harinama and book distribution. They were hosted by Bhimasena das, to whom we hereby express our heartfelt thanks. We also thank the devotees of Rijeka who joined them in harinama and sankirtana on several occasions. Thanks also to the parents who sent their children as additional reinforcements in carrying out their mission.
In total, 10 harinamas and 3 book distribution outings were held in this tour. 343 books were distributed!
After a long break, to the great satisfaction of all devotees in the region, the Summer Camp was held again in Lička Jesenica. The family of Murari Gupta prabhu and mataji Sundari opened the doors of their home and yard to a multitude of visitors, hungry for spiritual ecstasy and sadhu-sanga. We are especially happy and grateful that "our" Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Srila Prabhupada also visited the Camp this year.
Famous sankirtan groups from the American city of Atlanta are known all over the world. We had the fortune of getting to know them more closely and seeing them in action when they visited Zagreb after the Lika camp, where together with them we went out for harinama-sankirtana one afternoon.
It is our wish that before every major Vaishnava festival we have a mini-marathon of book distribution lasting 6-7 days, as an offering to Krishna on the occasion of His appearance or some other occasion. We recognized that such initiatives of increased intensity of book distribution are also an excellent opportunity for other devotees from the congregation who want to be part of sankirtana, by offering help to sankirtana devotees with various services in the temple so that devotees can spend more time on the street and better prepare for that service.
454 books were distributed for the Janmastami marathon. All temple devotees participated without exception, and were helped in various ways by mataji's Ljerka, Manjari Priya and Domagoja. Bh. Marko Kokolić sponsored one part of the distributed books worth HRK 1,000. Dhanvantari das helped us greatly with his regular services at the altar. We would like to point out that the Ambassador of India, His Excellency Raj Kumar Srivastava, a native of Mathura, received a set of Srila Prabhupada's biography for the Janmastami festival.
For the Radhastami marathon, the enthusiasm of the devotees increased even more and thus 686 books were distributed to please Srimati Radharani. This time, mataji Ljerka, Dhanvantara das, and once again bh. Marko Kokolić, who sponsored books worth as much as HRK 3,000, and who came to the temple every day, where he cleaned everything in order for at least 4 hours, helped the sankirtana devotees with valuable services this time. All glory to all!

The BBT office of ISKCON in the Republic of Croatia and sankirtana devotees need your help!
Forced by various circumstances, in just the last two years, we even moved books from the central warehouse to a new address twice. In addition to the fact that such moving actions are expensive in themselves, and the prices for renting storage space are constantly increasing, we have established one big and unfair illogicality. Namely, the cost of storing almost half of the total of 50,000 BOOKS exceeds their purchase price. This situation has been going on for 10 TO 15 YEARS! These are high-quality and spiritually powerful titles such as Nectar of Devotion, Krsna book and Prabhupada lilamrta, which not only "collect dust" all this time, but also suffer various damages when they are transferred from one warehouse to another.
In terms of printing, these are all editions with a large number of pages and good binding and hard covers, which makes them simply too expensive for the current spending power of the average citizen. Because of this, our sankirtana devotees prefer to share smaller and cheaper books which are as such more accessible to people. In addition, it is our desire to print NEW AND NEEDED TITLES of Srila Prabhupada's books for mass distribution, which will not be possible until we solve the above problem.
The BBT office and the Zagreb temple came up with the idea of putting the distribution of these large, high-quality and spiritually powerful books on rocket power. Since books are currently being distributed very well on Nova Jaladuta (on average 450-500 BOOKS / WEEK *), we would like to take advantage of this enthusiasm and further increase it by lowering the prices of large books, so that our sankirtana devotees can distribute them more easily without "price pressure" street. With your help, we could jointly share in just a few months exactly those books that were considered impossible to share in the last 10 to 15 years.

REPORT:
Since the beginning of the campaign, a total of HRK 20,200.00 has been collected from devotees and well-wishers. This helped that out of the total number of 4,012 books distributed (July, August and September), most of them were large books, especially the Nectar of Devotion. We have significantly reduced one of the palettes of Nektar advantages that used to be up to the ceiling.
PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS CAMPAIGN AND INCREASE THE DISTRIBUTION OF BOOKS IN CROATIA EVEN MORE!
The seventh consecutive Ratha Yatra in the city of Zagreb again gathered a large number of devotees and visitors. We would like to point out that a record 240 books were distributed this year, and over 250 packages of prasadam were distributed. We would like to thank everyone who supported this great event, both with services and donations. Special praise goes to the organizer Devarsi Narada prabhu and Gopi Kanta mataja who made this possible.
